Testimonials & FAQ
what are people saying?
“We had a really positive experience with the Clarity Beyond School program. My son came away from the session feeling open and curious, and it has actually led him to start exploring more options for his future. Alice has such a natural way with young people. She connected with my son really well and got him thinking and talking about things he hadn’t really explored before. As a parent, it was so nice to see him come away from the session thinking about different possibilities and being willing to explore what might be right for him”.
Aleksandra
“Amazing experience with Alice. She put so much time and effort into our debrief following the report results, and she genuinely connected with me as a person and made me consider perspectives I wouldn’t have previously thought about”.
Olivia
“Alice helped me understand myself in a way I hadn't experienced before. The Birkman assessment went beyond generic personality insights, providing a deeper understanding of what motivates me, how I behave and what I need to succeed. What made the difference was Alice's ability to make those insights personal, meaningful and practical. She believed in me, helped me recognise my potential and supported me to turn self-understanding into action”.
Kat Hare
“Alice has helped me in many ways, but the main ones were helping me find an exciting and more suitable employment / industry to work in, and getting a better understanding of myself so my life could be more positive, joyful, and more ‘me’. Alice helped me use and understand the Birkman Test, which I thoroughly recommend you use, as it gives you a lot of information that is useful in daily life as well as work and interests”.
Michelle
“Having the delivery of the Birkman report was a very worthwhile experience for me. The way that it was delivered enabled me to be in touch with myself and recognise both strengths and weaknesses. As I am young I found it interesting to discover my interests and therefore suitable pathways for the future. Although they were different to what I was thinking, I was able to be introduced into other ideas which will give me valuable guidance for the upcoming years. The report was extremely beneficial and I am very thankful for the time”.
Chloe
“Before working with Alice, my daughter had little clarity about what she wanted to do next. Through the process, she gained confidence, direction and a much stronger understanding of herself. Today, she's taking charge of her own future and has even enrolled herself in university. Alice is deeply passionate about helping young people discover their authentic selves and find a path that aligns with their strengths and values”.

FAQs
-
The Birkman Method® is a self-awareness tool that helps young people better understand themselves - including their interests, motivations, strengths, needs, communication and the environments in which they are most likely to thrive.
It provides another perspective to help them make sense of themselves before making decisions about what comes next.
-
The young person begins by completing the Birkman Career Assessment online, which takes approximately 40-45 minutes.
We then have a personalised 90 minute debrief where we explore the results together - what resonates, what surprises them and how the insights relate to their real life experiences.
Depending on the pathway chosen, further coaching sessions can provide additional space to explore options, questions and decisions about what comes next.
-
No. That's exactly why the process can be helpful.
They don't need to have a career in mind or know what they want to study.
They might have lots of interests, know what they don't want, feel completely unsure or simply want to understand themselves better.
The starting point is self-understanding, not having the answer.
-
The Birkman assessment can provide insight into:
• Their strengths and natural preferences
• What interests and motivates them
• How they see themselves and how they may be perceived by others
• What they need from their environment
• How they communicate
• The environments in which they are most likely to thrive
• How they may respond when their needs aren't being met
The aim is to help them put language around things they may already sense about themselves but haven't been able to articulate.
-
No.
Birkman isn't designed to prescribe a career or tell someone what they should do.
It provides insight that can help a young person understand themselves, explore possibilities and make more informed decisions.
-
The process works best when the young person is willing to engage.
Clarity Beyond School isn't about telling a young person what they should do or making decisions on their behalf. The goal is to give them space to understand themselves and explore their own possibilities.
If they are unsure about whether it's right for them, that's something we can talk through before starting.
-
Parents can be as involved as appropriate for their family and the pathway chosen.
The Family Partnership includes a dedicated parent session, giving parents an opportunity to better understand their young person's Birkman insights and consider how they can support them.
The aim isn't for parents to receive a prescribed set of instructions. It's about creating greater understanding and more constructive conversations.
-
The young person is at the centre of the process.
For families choosing the Family Partnership, the dedicated parent session provides an opportunity to discuss the young person's insights and how they may support them.
We'll talk about how information is shared and what the young person is comfortable with as part of the process.
-
The online Birkman assessment takes approximately 40-45 minutes to complete.
The initial personalised debrief is 90 minutes.
If you choose the Guided Pathway or Family Partnership, additional 60 minute coaching sessions are included.
The overall timeframe can vary depending on the pathway and the young person's needs.
-
